Introduction

Federation of Professional Training and Employment Nepal (FP-TEN) is an organization of service providers providing technical and vocational training and employment services in Nepal. FPTEN was established on 25 Bhadra 2072 as a non-governmental organization in the District Administration Office, Kathmandu on the recommendation of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology and the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security of the Government of Nepal and the recommendation of the District Development Office, Kathmandu. A federation of private technical schools, 12 associations, seven provincial working committees and more than 850 training institutes from all districts of Nepal are affiliated with FP TEN.

It is related to the multidimensional concept of change that brings together the economic, social, cultural and environmental dimensions of the country. It can be a method that helps strengthen and distribute solidarity to support or accelerate the empowerment of ordinary people to improve the quality of life. There is an acute shortage of semi-skilled and skilled manpower equipped with technical skills in various development sectors, especially in various fields. FP-TEN has been established to meet the growing demand of semi-skilled and skilled manpower in the country. It is a membership organization of more than 850 organizations involved in providing training and employment services to unemployed youth.

FP TEN represents the interests of training and employment service providers to inform them about all aspects of the employment and training agenda in Nepal FP TEN has strong relationships and good working relationships with all key stakeholders in the sector including the Government of Nepal. The Federation has maintained close relations with the Government of Nepal, Ministerial Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT), Foreign Employment Board, Federation of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Industry Association, Commodity Association, Trade Union.

And local Authorities members share good practices and physical resources, premises and so on. FP TEN is led by an elected National Executive Committee drawn from member organizations, supported by a structure covering all development sectors in Nepal. The main office of the organization is in Kathmandu and there will be offices in each province. Good working with international organizations like Ministry of Labour, Office of Cottage and Small Scale Industries, District Development Committee, Elam / Helvetas Employment Fund Secretariat / Helvetas, CARE Nepal, Green Forest Program / WWF International Labor Organization (ILO), ADB, World Bank, SDC with members Tank has a record and experience. 4. Creation of job opportunities in the country, use of skilled manpower and supply of skilled workers will be done.

5. Nepalese manpower will be in demand as skilled workers in the world market.

Goal

The main goal of this federation is to establish quality production and a prosperous Nepal and a happy Nepali society through skilled manpower, facilitating and advocating for technical and vocational education and training (TVET) programs in coordination with various related bodies.

2. Focusing on professional unity and professional sustainability by clarifying the policies and programs of the federation between training providers and stakeholders.

4. To establish a unified information center on matters related to skill development and employment sector and benefit the businessmen and stakeholders.
